Samuel Aha Alegria aka Cyborg Ant and a bunch of other aka's to go along with that. He's been a professional ballet dancer, world class percussionist, nationally ranked fencer, mediocre comedian and a not-so-bad actor. He also flew planes when he was fourteen and has been studying the afro/afro-brazilian esoteric for over 20 years. Samuel or as referred to here as Aha is a creator on all levels. He is a writer, designer, illustrator, singer, classically trained ballet dancer, contemporary movement artist, composer and voice actor. When he arrived to Los Angeles he didn't know the business from a hole in someone else's butt. He just started walking the room with an open mind and a will to never settle for a Plan "B". He received his break working as a camera man for many ENG formatted television shows (Reality TV and Oprah). Then he ventured into Post-Production Marketing where he learned how to write copy and edit on the Avid. After that he authored DVD's for many well-known animation directors for Acme Filmworks. When the HD transition occurred he worked in machine rooms and also as an account executive at Lightning Media so he could better understand the format. Then took a big leap to work with HOPSports as a writer/producer/performer/editor of kids educational content that is now distributed in over 23 countries. While working at HOPS he moonlighted as the EVP of Creative Development at Bluewater Comics, did a ton of writing for Mike Epps and was a ghost writer on a few domestic and foreign release titles. During this period of his career he had the opportunity to rub elbows with the elite side of Hollywood. The epitome was attending the 2007 Golden Globes Awards as a guest of the Babel Party. Crawling from an absolute nobody to sharing drinks and laughs with Warren Beatty and Annette Bening he paused as the room slowed down and vowed to never return to this ceremony until it was for one of his projects. Back to the grind, he taught himself how to design visual effects gaining the position of in-house VFX artist at Blumhouse Productions to then working independently and finally finding himself as the Post Supervisor on a Fox television series and Post-Producing, "Axis". A month after wrapping post he partnered with his best friend and began development on his own content because after 16 years in the industry, working on everyone else's content and in just about every job one could imagine he knew he could without a doubt build his own entertainment brand. One where the focus is on creativity and originality. A proactive and positive creative environment jade and shade free. One that respects the love of creating without the need to whip oneself with the cat of nine tails in hopes to find validation in the scars. It has been a long journey filled with pimps, disrespect, film festivals, fruitless leads, a lot of education and the bottomless will to succeed. So... here we are. Here it comes. We have finally arrived.
