Rashmi Rustagi

Born and raised in Lucknow, India, Rashmi has been a radio actor since a young age and continues to be an actor, writer, producer, and voice actor. A fluent Hindi, Urdu, and English speaker, Rashmi loves to cook and writes a popular food blog with recipes and videos. Raising a family in America while navigating both Indian and Western values, she understands the longings, pulls, and contradictions of both cultures and the challenge of assimilation. Frustrated by the lack of real stories about South Asian women in American film and television, Rashmi recently wrote and produced a short film called 'Unborn'. Encouraged by its success, Rashmi has a feature film in development. It is a dramedy that deals with spousal abuse and the intersection of races and cultures.
