Ximena Gonzalez is a Documentary film maker and Licentiate in Teaching of the Audiovisual Arts. Participated in various festivals with her short films "Y vi la esperma brotar de sus ojos" (2008) and "Marea" (2009). Her first feature film, "Mal del Viento" (2012), was declared of interest by the National Institute of Film and Audiovisual Arts INCAA, awarded by the National Fund of Arts and winner of national and international awards. Her second feature film "Maxi Kosteki. Constructor de caminos" (2014) was realized of collective form with the community channel En Movimiento TV. Currently, he is developing the documentary "El ritual del alcaucil", declared of interest by the National Film Institute. She participated as an academic exhibitor at the 1st National Encounter of Art, Design and Communication (La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina 2015), in the 1st and 2nd Encounter for a Popular and Democratic Communication (ENCODEPO Rosario 2013 and Lomas de Zamora 2014, Argentina), in The Rafael Landivar University (Guatemala 2010), the VI Conference on Sociology of the National University of La Plata (Argentina 2010) and the University of Chile (2009). Titular of the Class Analysis of the Documentary Film and Documentary Workshop in the Institute of Cinematographic Art of Avellaneda. She also teached at the University of Belgrano and at the South American Institute for the Teaching of Communication ISEC, and regularly teaches Documentary Film courses at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). Jury of the Documentary Projects Evaluation Committee (2014) and the Committee of Finished Documentary Films (2015) of the INCAA National Film Institute.
