Tia Swarbrick

Born in Queens, NY, Tia Melissa Swarbrick's love for the performing arts began at the age of 4, where she impressed both family and friends with her graceful style and keen sense of craft. When she moved to Tampa, FL at 8 years old, her passion stayed with her. Because of this continued interest and noticeable talent, her parents enrolled her in acting lessons in addition to dancing and by the age of nine she was featured in many recitals and active in many productions in the area. Her talent was soon recognized by the Berg Talent Agency of Tampa who represented her while she honed her unique style. She continued her love of acting and dancing throughout her career as a student, dancing and singing in many competitions and recitals, including Walt Disney World and Carnegie Hall. While attending Florida State University, she pursued a marketing degree as well as music and dance. After graduating, her love of performing brought her back to New York as an adult to concentrate on a professional career in the arts. In New York she studied at The Broadway Dance Center, alongside the talented Chio. Most recently she starred in the film Urge opposite Pierce Brosnan.
