Bob Dela Cruz

Bob was born on August 10, 1977, in Loma de Gato, Marilao, Bulacan, Philippines. Bob and his two brothers were raised as devout Catholics. Bob served as an acolyte, choir member, catechist, and Hermano Mayor in their parish. Bob supported himself through college by working as a food service crew in a fast food chain. After earning a degree in Physical Therapy, he worked as a pharmacist's assistant in a leading drugstore and later as a medical representative (territory business manager) in a pharmaceutical company. In the 2004 elections, Bob ran for municipal councilor in his hometown, Marilao, but lost. He ranked 9th but there were only eight elective posts. Financial burdens incurred during the elections forced Bob to contemplate seeking greener pastures abroad, but he dropped the idea when the chance to join Pinoy Big Brother came along. Bob's stint in Pinoy Big Brother was cut short on Day 50 (October 9, 2005) when he was forcibly evicted for medical reasons.
