Shawn Davidson

Shawn Kendrick Davidson was born to Carolyn Davidson an elementary school teacher and Eddie Davidson a painter. After his parents divorced at the age of 2 years old he moved to Los Angeles with his mother to escape the dangerous neighborhoods of Stockton, California. It wasn't long before tragedy struck when his mother injured her spine causing long-term disability and partial paralysis. While being home-schooled, impoverished, and mostly home-bound with his disabled mother, Shawn found hope and inspiration through watching movies, martial arts, and teaching himself how to code. Duty-bound, he earned his Master's in Software Engineering and had a 15-year career in Aerospace all while dreaming of being an Actor. The stars aligned one day when at the gym while sparring with some friends, a stranger walked by and asked Shawn if he was a pro fighter. A few days later Shawn was being whisked away in an Escalade to film a fight scene in a Bel Air mansion with world-famous actors in a martial arts movie. He hasn't looked back since. Shawn earned his 4th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do from Grandmaster Andre Alex Lima and fought as a USKO amateur (Muay Thai). Shawn's early career highlights include RollerJam, Mystery ER, and Without You. He also had the opportunity to work with the world-famous actor Eric Roberts who took him under his wing and offered him invaluable career advice. Shawn is enjoying the process of gaining experience on set and credits his continued success to the incredible kindness of the people who saw his true potential and showed him the ropes on the set of Mundije.
