Carissa Becker was born in Riverside, California in July of 1985. In 1991 she and her family moved up to the northwest. As a child, Carissa started making up wild performances and loved to share them with her family and as she got older her talents grew. In 2002 she got her first exposure to film acting in Gus Van Sant's school shooting expose, "Elephant" and Mike Mills, "Thumbsucker". In 2004 Carissa also appeared in Andy Koontz's black and white thriller, "Clearwater". The film premiered at the Leeds Anime Horror Film Festival in October of 2005 and was chosen as an Official Selection. In the winter of 2004, Carissa was featured in another Stone Dead Films project. It was a Christmas themed horror short film titled, "X-mas Eve". The film premiered at the Season's Bleeding Film Festival where it was chosen as an Official Selection in December of 2004.
