Janet Miranda is one of the better modern-day actress, storytelling authors, and screen play writer. In her recent book, she created lovable characters who go through many of the same day-to-day situations as we do. Her book "Princess Popularity" also known as "Hyper Harley" is a joy to read out loud, and it interests a wide age range of kids (and adults). The words were brilliantly selected and they rhythmically lead the reader on a comforting journey. About Janet Miranda Janet Miranda is an Italian born, Ukrainian-American Actress, Business Leader, American Television Personality, Producer, Philanthropist. Janet grew up in Brooklyn, NY. She studied film and drama in Edward R. Murrow H.S. and continued studying drama in college. While in school, Janet began to study the art of Mediation, and began working for a reputable Mediation firm on Wall Street. Finding that as another one of her passions she continued to excel in her position as a Mediatior, while also building her craft as an actress. In 2006, she began her professional acting training at the New York City's 78th Street Theater Lab with teacher Sondra Lee. Sondra was very hard on Janet the first few years of training. She said Janet had many bad habits that had to be broken from her past teachers and experiences. After much hard work, Sondra Lee was able to mold Janet into a wonderfully skilled method actress. Janet's craft was also carefully modeled by her dear friend and mentor Keith David. Keith was also very hard on Janet through the years and continued to mentor her through the years working on her craft. Janet continued to work in the corporate world and continued to work as an actress through her years of training. She worked on Off-Broadway productions, acting and dancing as Automatic Dancer in "Automatic Superstar" (2006), Isabella Chan in "The Reluctant Chinese" (2007), Amanda in "Lost Christmas" (2008), Claudia in "Claude and Claudia" (2008) and "Lola" (a 75 year old Aboriginal woman) in La Mama's "Yanagai Yanagai" (2009). She did not stop there. She said she wanted to get as much practice as possible acting in anything she could act in. She landed a string of roles in student and low budget films and also created some short films where she created opportunities for herself and for other actors as well. In 2010 Janet decided that she wanted to continue her thirst for the craft, and learn more about how to become a stronger actress. At that point Janet enrolled into classes learning the Meisner technique with teacher Ted Bardy (NYC). Thereafter, landing a series of projects, and becoming eligible for the Screen Actors Guild Union. During this time, Janet continued to grow her success in the corporate world, she continued her writing adventures, and she was regularly appearing in televised programs, commercials, film projects and webisodes. 2010 and 2011 were promising years for Janet. She worked on Theater, Music, Film, wrote a pilot television show (that she is completing in 2016). She got regular Television Hosting gigs that aired on public Television. In 2011 Janet met Chaz Palminterri who also worked with Janet on her craft. He told Janet that she is the female version of Channing Tatum. Chaz predicted Janet was going to be a big star but it would mean a lot of work and dedication. Chaz helped her with refining her acting skills. He also helped her with her writing techniques in her Adrenaline Series. With the help of all of her teachers and mentors Janet became a very interesting method actress. 2012 -2013 she continued to produce her Television Pilot "Adrenaline iii" where she played the Role of Bella Sorteoro. She also worked on several features elevating herself as an actress and in what she was capable of including the role of a psychiatrist in "The Light" and a very comical starring role in the feature "Madame Sorraya". 2014 and 2015 have proved to be even bigger years for Janet balancing her family life, her corporate life, her writing adventures, publishing a book, producing a series, and her showing the world her love for film and her and her incredible instrument for acting with dimension, and great character depth. Her most recent work can be found in her series "Adrenaline" a short "Defarios" and also in the Garden of Thorns. Janet is proving to be one of the most interesting actresses, story tellers and inspiring business leaders of all time.
