Michael P. Brennan

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Michael P Brennan has been writing in some form for as long as he has been able to grip a pencil. He started out writing abridged screenplays of all the R-Rated horror movies his friends in grade school weren't allowed to see (the advantages of having older sisters, a VCR, and a membership to a mom & pop video store that would rent him literally anything). He continued writing creatively for fun all the way through college. He mainly focused on short stories and poetry before eventually finding his way back to screenwriting in his final semester at Towson University. He took it as an advanced writing credit and fell in love with it. Realizing he had some stories to tell and being a lifelong movie lover, he knew this is what he wanted to do and he's been actively pursuing this dream since 2001. Michael has taken screenwriting courses at Johns Hopkins University and traveled to Ireland to attend a screenwriting seminar. He has written both short and full length screenplays in genres as diverse as comedy, horror, noir, drama, and family. He has a film in development and is working on a TV pilot.
