Damien O'Connor is the Emmy nominated director/co-writer of Angela's Christmas, an adaptation of Frank McCourt children's book starring Ruth Negga (Preacher/World War Z/Loving) released Christmas 2018. He is also the writer and director of the sequel, 'Angela's Christmas Wish' (Ruth Negga, Jared Harris, Caitriona Balfe) released globally on Netflix December 2020. Series Director on Nickelodeon show 'Butterbean's Cafe'. Previously episode director on Peabody award winning Doc McStuffins for Disney Jnr. Editor on Noddy, Olivia the Pig and The Octonauts. Writer/director/storyboard artist on four Irish Film Board funded shorts, Mutt, Ledog, the IFTA nominated Dick Terrapin IFTA nominated After You and Anya. Traditionally trained 2D animator/storyboard artist now working in CG.
