R. Sky Palkowitz

SKY Palkowitz is an Avant-Garde Multimedia Performance Artist, Actor, Director, Producer, Musician, Dramaturge and Educator from New York, who has been acting and singing professionally since the age of 14. SKY's serious training began when she was the youngest member chosen for the prestigious Professional Theatre Training Program (PTTP), the nation's top graduate conservatory for Shakespeare and classical theatre, at the University of Delaware. She received her MFA in Acting at the University of Iowa, where she also taught Acting to undergraduates, and performed in 3 seasons of Iowa Summer Repertory Theatre. It was there that SKY wrote, directed and produced her first multimedia extravaganza, "All About Malcolm", and first solo show, "Alien Rhoda". She also starred in numerous plays and musicals. She has been seen on MTV, Time Warner, SONY Pictures, FOX TV, LOGO, Bravo, TeenNick, Adult Swim, Warner Brothers, and all over the internet... SKY has been teaching and coaching acting, voice, commercials, auditioning techniques, and Shakespeare around the country for nearly 30 years. She creates, directs and produces short films and multimedia content for solo theatre artists, poets and musicians, via zoom.
