Cengiz Coskun

After successful careers in professional basketball and modeling, Cengiz Coskun began his acting career in 2005 with the TV Series "Rüzgarli Bahçe (2005)". Later, he appeared in the series "Candan Öte (2006)" (2006), Doktorlar (2007) and "Hicran Yarasi" (2009). Coskun made his film debut as "Giovanni Giustiniani" in "Conquest 1453 (2012)" (2012) which was screened worldwide. He competed in the reality show Survivor: "Ünlüler vs. Gönüllüler 3" (2013). In 2014, he was cast as the character that would propel him to the hearts of a global audience: The axe-wielding warrior with a heart "Turgut Alp" in "Dirilis: Ertugrul (2014)" (2014). The popularity of the Turgut Alp character helped Dirilis: Ertugrul become a worldwide phenomenon. Some 130 million people watch or have watched the show in 65 countries. Dirilis is available on Netflix under the name "Resurrection: Ertugrul". In 2020, Coskun starred in the feature film "Malazgirt 1071 (2022)" as the Seljuk Sultan "Alp Arslan".
