Nick J. Webb a film and television editor known for his outstanding creative biographical content in music, comedy and entertainment. Recent projects include 'Liam Gallagher: As It Was' (Warner Music / Altitude Films / Lorton Entertainment) and 'The Sparks Brothers' (Focus Features / Universal Pictures *additional editor) both of which won 'Best Music Film' at the NME Awards. Another highlight is the feature documentary 'The Day The Music Died: The Story of Don McLean's American Pie' (Paramount+ / Meteor 17) working remotely with director Mark Moorman in Miami and production company Meteor 17 in LA. The subjects Nick has edited include Sammy Davis Jr, Elvis, Dolly Parton, Boy George and Paloma Faith, and stars of comedy including Steve Coogan, The Mighty Boosh, Bob Monkhouse, Larry Grayson & Ken Dodd to name a few. 'Alan Partridge: Welcome To The Places Of My Life' won Best Scripted Comedy at the RTS Awards and nominated Best Comedy at the Baftas (TV), the British Comedy Awards and the South Bank Sky Arts Awards. He's also edited shows featuring film stars like Michael Caine, John Travolta and Charles Dance but also more serious subjects like Japanese Art, Chinese Porcelain and Body Image. In addition to highly creative short-form advertising and marketing content, he's also edited music videos and live performances for artists like The Who, Blur and The Cure. More recently Webb released his own music film / album 'Weather the Storm' by Skylark and the Scorpion for which he was the composer, producer, editor and actor. Being a musician and songwriter, Nick takes a key role in not only editing films but directing musical scores using bespoke composers and overseeing audio mixes using his extensive music studio knowledge. He also often uses his own compositions as underscore.
