Delfina Jaureguialzo

Was born in Buenos Aires in 1986. In 2008 she graduated as a Film Director from the National Film School of Argentina (E.N.E.R.C.) that depends on the National Institute of Cinema (INCAA). During her time there, she directed three short films (Ladron de Sabado; Los Sacrificados; El Vasco) and wrote the screenplay for another one (Argentino Vargas) which participated and was awarded in more than 25 film festivals worldwide. She started working in the film industry in 2005 as a Director Assistant and later she continued her career as an editor, working in several TV shows and films. Between 2011 and 2014 she edited two features (Matrimonio; El Prisionero Irlandes) that were invited to several international film festivals. At the beginning of 2014 she won a National Grant given by the National Institute of Cinema (INCAA) for the script of the first season for a narrative TV show: Los Mariachis del Despecho (Heartbreak Mariachis). She has also written the screenplay for two feature films that are currently at the stage of development.
