David Reid Hatfield has been acting onstage and in film since he was a child in Marshall, Michigan. After winning the 1961 Outstanding Drama Student award at the National Music Camp, David moved on to an Equity apprenticeship at the Barn Theatre, Augusta, Michigan; six Gilbert and Sullivan roles (including co-starring with John Lithgow in Harvard's 'Iolanthe'); opera roles in Boston and Santa Fe; stage roles with 3 theaters in Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Virginia and 3 theaters in Cincinnati'; right up to his film roles in Norfolk ('Forgotten Star's' 2005), Cincinnati ('Dogwood Pass' TV pilot 2018 + 2 shorts for Xavier University), Columbus ('Ebenezer Scrooge' 2018), Louisville ('Russian Symphony' 2019), Asbury University ('Divinity School Murders' 2019), and Bloomington, Indiana ('The Journey Home' 2019). Based in Cincinnati, David is married with three talented children and four equally talented grandchildren.
