Shara Connolly

Shara Connolly is an New Zealand born film, television and theatre actress. Shara's screen career began at the age of 13 when she was cast in a small role in Disney's Eddies Million Dollar Cook Off (2003). Since then, she has acted extensively in New Zealand and international productions such as The Shannarah Chronicles (2016), Power Rangers (2016), The Brokenwood Mysteries (2016) Ash vs Evil Dead (2015) and Tatau (2015). Shara's most notable role is in multi award winning Comedy Drama Go Girls. Shara's character was a supporting role for the first four seasons of the show before the writers created the fifth season around her character, making her the pivotal lead. Most recently, Shara received widespread critical acclaim for her performance in theatre production Between Two Waves. Following this she was cast as Barbi Benton in American Playboy, The Hugh Hefner Story. Shara is now located in Los Angeles, California.
