Natasha Chandel is an Indian-Canadian-American actress, writer/producer, comedian, and host. She wrote on season two of the Netflix comedy "Mr. Iglesias" featuring Gabriel Iglesias. She also hosts her popular comedy dating podcast, "Kinda Dating". Born in Dubai, Natasha has lived in Mumbai, Toronto, New York, and now resides in LA, bringing her truly diverse experience to all her projects. Her writing work has won a Telly and Galaxy award. The versatile actress and improviser has been in Comedy Central's "Man Up," CBS' "SEAL TEAM," Hulu's "The Mindy Project," HBO's "How to Make it in America", CBC's "11 Cameras" and "MVP," to name a few. She starred in the film festival darling "PRIA" which screened at over 15 film festivals worldwide, aired on the Sundance Channel and in-flight on Air Canada. It won the Platinum Remy at Houston Worldfest, Audience Choice winner at TIFFg's Sprockets and NBC's Short Cuts Film Festival. She also starred in the viral video "Women Try Balls, " viewed 41 million times. Natasha is a graduate of UCB improv, and received a UCB Diversity Scholarship. In theater, Natasha was lead in the sold-out comedy play "Brown's 3-4" and has been in multiple runs of the acclaimed "Vagina Monologues", among others. Natasha has studied under reputed teachers like the late Wynn Handman to UCB's Will Hines and Shannon O'Neill. Among her many lives, she was also a producer/reporter for MTV News, and a Bollywood dancer/instructor for the Shiamak Davar Dance Institute, performing alongside Bollywood legends. Natasha was identified as a "leading Protégé for creativity" by Lancôme, featured in the Mille Femmes exhibition honoring 1000 of the most creative women in the city of Toronto.
