Matt Taylor is an award winning visionary filmmaker from Japan. He was the first-ever "foreign" Producer & Director of a nation-wide TV series (over 300 segments) and has pioneered several high-profile "firsts" for Japanese entertainment. Legendary inventor Dr. Nakamatsu inducted Taylor into the World Genius Society in 2004 and wrote about him in is book, calling him one of the most influential visionaries in Japan. When terrorism threaten to destroy the economy of Bali, Indonesia, President Megawati called up Matt to create, produce and direct the largest (and first global broadcast) LIVE TV concert in the history of the country. As a researcher and team production leader of the TITANIC Search & Recovery Missions, Taylor's discovery of the "Hosono-Letter" is registered in the U.S. Library of Congress as the single most significant document ever recovered detailing the sinking of the famous ship. His work was featured in TIME Magazine and more than 800 news papers world-wide and is credited as being the biggest reason for the sudden decision for the movie TITANIC to make its world premiere at the Tokyo International Film Festival, rather than in Hollywood. The official TITANIC EXHIBITION in JAPAN featuring 260 artifacts Taylor helped recover from the sunken ship broke all attendance records of any event since the end of WW2. Taylor was the producer & director of the JULIANA's brand in Japan, responsible for the biggest contribution to Japanese pop-culture in the 90's, including the first ever "inter-active" TV show; Juliana's Tokyo Live and Juliana's Interactive Network. The Juliana's brand breathed life into AVEX, which is one of the worlds largest independent record labels and entertainment behemoths in Japan today. Juliana's Japan is the only foreign brand ever to win the coveted NIKKEI Business Award two years in a two.
