Henrik Hanson is a Swedish director who splits his time between Stockholm, New York, and LA. He developed a strong interest in filmmaking at the young age of 14, when he and his friends shot parodies of Hollywood action movies. One of his short films got into the hand of renown director Jonas Åkerlund. Soon after he began assisting both Jonas Åkerlund & Johan Renck at their Stockholm production house. After receiving a scholarship, Henrik moved to New York City to study screenwriting at the School of Visual Arts, where he earned his BFA degree. As a director, he has directed commercials and music videos for brands such as Axe, Miller, H&M, Nespresso, Jarlsberg, and J. Lindeberg, as well as videos for artists such as Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, and Seinabo Sey.
