Sam Baron is a writer and director based in London. He won the Nicholl Fellowship Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his screenplay The Science Of Love, which also featured on the Brit List. His short film The Orgy, starring Amit Shah and Alexandra Roach, played at film festivals worldwide. He is developing it as a TV series with Clerkenwell Films. His previous shorts have six million hits online and have been featured by Vimeo, Indiewire and Short Of The Week. He has written the feature Tonight to direct, and he is creating original TV shows for Sky Comedy and the BBC as writer and director. He has also co-written the original sci-fi drama Blue and an adaptation of The Girl With A Clock For A Heart. Alongside his own projects, Sam has worked in development at Ealing Studios, as a script reader for the BBC, and in production on series including The Hour and Mr Selfridge.
