Marni Russo

Launching her acting career with a lead role in the confronting feature film "Two Thirty 7", which competed in the "Un Certain Regard" category at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival, Marni experienced the industry's most prestigious film festival first hand. The highly anticipated film by first time director Murali K. Thalluri chronicles the lives of six students over the course of a day and ends with a devastating twist. For her portrayal of the bulimic character Sarah, Marni has been greeted with first-rate reviews of her big-screen debut, bringing heartfelt depth to a common stereotype. Born in Adelaide, Marni attended Saint Peter's Collegiate Girls' School and completed her education with a strong focus on the arts, including four years of formal acting training.
