Heather was raised in Dana Point California, a small beach town 90 minutes south of Los Angeles. She started her career as a child actor doing commercials, modeling, and appearing in many films including Poltergeist III, where she was the body double for Heather O'Rourke after she had tragically died. Since then, Heather devoted most of her life to filmmaking. She had a successful collegiate career as a Writer/Director at APU where she won the Outstanding Senior Award in Film. When she left school, Heather decided that to become a great director, to truly comprehend what it really takes to 'get the shot', she would have to learn 'how' to execute her visions. The last 18 years she had extensive experience working all crew positions behind the camera as a 1st AD, a 1st AC / Swing, an Art Department Coordinator, a Camera Operator on numerous TV shows including a doc-series for National Geographic, and in Post Production as an Editor, and as a Di Producer / Project Manager for Kodak. Here she worked on films such as "No Country For Old Men" and "For Your Consideration". This cumulative experience has made Heather an incredibly skillful and effective filmmaker. Heather is is currently developing her own Science Fiction Television series. "I would define my style as Magical Realism. Science Fiction, Dreams, Neon Noir, Outcasts, Underdogs that tap into their Abilities, Fringe Science, The Metaphysical, The Spiritual ... And humor; I always look for the humor."
