Julie Whitesell grew up in the Silicon Valley and graduated from Yale University, where she majored in English and Theatre. She writes for a monthly sketch show at Upright Citizens Brigade as part of the team "Oh Brother!" Her sketches have aired on NPR and been featured on the front page of Funny or Die. She is a graduate of the NBC Writing Program.
