Avear Carey

Avear Carey was born on September 18, 1980 in New York City along with her twin sister Apear Carey. Raised in Brooklyn by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Garnette and Veronica Carey. As a child Avear's first school experience was at Pilgrim Christian Academy, where she really learned what entertainment was about. Avear had the privilege of performing at a number of places including Carnegie Hall. That is where she first learned how comfortable being on stage and being in the spot light was and how much it felt like home. Growing up and going on to attend high school and then graduating from Long Island University with her bachelor's degree in Political Science, she never lost her passion and desire for entertainment. Acting courses at Black Nexxus in New York is where she really learned the true art of acting. Having recently moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her career, she is looking forward to adding to the credits she already has while doing big and bigger things. Look out Hollywood!!!
