Vladimir Tintor [last name pronounced Teen-tohr] was born in Novi Sad, Vojvodina, Serbia, on July 18, 1978 to politician Stojan and school teacher Ljiljana Tintor. He has one brother, Vedran, one half-brother, Sasha, one step-brother, Roki and a half-sister, Aleksandra. Vladimir grew up in Novi Sad where he attended prestigious "Svetozar Markovic" high school and also participated in this school's ambitious drama class. His early exposure to theatre led him to Academy of Arts where he, with great success, passed the very first audition, in June, 1996. After graduation, Vladimir worked mostly in theatre productions in Novi Sad, Sombor, Zrenjanin, Belgrade... Vladimir made his film debut in "Zurka" ["The Party"] and began to establish himself as an up-and-coming actor. After portraying Franjo Barisic in the highly popular TV series "Zabranjena ljubav", he moved to Zagreb, Croatia. Tintor's career is already booming and he is often considered one of the most promising actors of his generation.
