"Page Hurwitz began her career as a stand-up comedian. She is a television writer, producer, and director known for championing diverse voices and creating/developing shows that amplify them, including My Life is a Joke (OWN), Unprotected Sets (Epix), and They Ready (Netflix). She recently reunited with Tiffany Haddish, Fortune Feimster, and Michelle Buteau, all comedians Hurwitz tapped early in their careers to be on Last Comic Standing, to produce their respective Netflix comedy specials. Feimster's breakthrough performance in Sweet & Salty earned a Critics' Choice Awards nomination. Welcome to Buteaupia, Buteau's special which Hurwitz directed, won the 2021 Critics' Choice Award for Best Comedy Special.
