Dutch director Tonnie Dinjens (1973) directs television series and features in many genres. From Science Fiction to Soap, from Cop-series to Childrens' Series. He also experiments in Transmedia Storytelling (Alfred Socks) and mixing genres like Fiction with Reality (Kroongetuige). In his own films he prefers to tell strong stories in the genres of science fiction and social drama. He wants to put real people in extraordinary situations. Then they can't fall back on their usual and often predictable behavior, but have to re-discover themselves and challenge their own (im)moralities. During his college time at the University of Amsterdam, he studied at the New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. He has a Master of Arts degree.
