Eve M. Cohen is a IATSE local 600 cinematographer based in Los Angeles. Her cinematography ranges from independent feature films to television series, documentaries, and virtual reality/360 storytelling. She entered the world of filmmaking through the study of fine art-specifically painting and photography-and holds a BFA in photography and an MFA in cinematography, both from UCLA. Her cinematography work for films and virtual reality projects has screened in festivals and theaters around the world. You can find her work on just about every digital platform available and many TV channels. Cohen welcomes all adventures in filmmaking; some of her latest work has taken her to multiple continents, remote islands, various helicopters and underwater. She was also the director of photography of the truly independent feature film "Like The Water" (dir. Caroline Von Kuhn) which was the catalyst for creation of crowdfunding and distribution platform Seed&Spark. Cohen is also a co-founder at Seed&Spark, where they believe the art of storytelling is about expanding imagination-shining a light on a world inside and deepening empathy for the world outside.
