Jesse Lewis Carrion was born on April 8, 1983 to his Puerto Rican parents Louis and Nicza Carrion. Welcomed by two older sisters, Stefanie and Melinda, Jesse is the baby of three. Moving frequently, the Carrion family finally found home in Orlando, Florida. Knowing since the age of 5 he wanted to be a performer, Jesse quickly began to train and work as a young actor. While in Orlando he found much success in several commercials, music videos, print ads, and the Discovery Channel program Shamu TV. Whilst performing in the award-winning performance troupe, Civic Kids, Jesse discovered his passion and talent for singing and dancing. With Civic Kids, Jesse and the troupe (which included Mandy Moore) performed across the United States and Jesse sang as a soloist at The White House. He later attended and graduated from the renowned Performing Arts Magnet Program at Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando where N'sync's Joey Fatone and TV's Wayne Brady are included as alumni. Here, he honed his craft in award-winning performances of Ain't Misbehavin, West Side Story, A Midsummer Nights Dream, Becoming Memories and Spunk!, to name a few. Jesse was then admitted to the prestigious UCLA Theater and Film Department where he graduated with a B.A. Degree in Acting. While in college he was cast in the film Gabby's Tool directed by critically acclaimed director Luis Mandoki. Post UCLA Jesse performed in Jeny Quine's (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody) original production of Boarders as well as the role of Angel in the National Broadway Tour of the Tony Award winning phenomenon Rent. Most recently he starred as the beloved adventurer Diego in Nickelodeon's Go Diego Go! Live, a 40 city tour that included sold out crowds at Radio City Music Hall and a performance on The Today Show. In addition to Acting, Jesse is pursuing his passion for music as a solo artist. With a penchant for R&B, Hip-hop, and Latin Music, Jesse is working with a few producers on a demo for a prospective record deal. In the vein of one of Jesse's heroes, Rita Moreno, he aspires to be the first Latino Male to be awarded a Tony, Grammy, Emmy and Academy Award.
