Having given nearly twenty years to the stage, trained and performed under a number of worldwide theatre performance techniques and influences, Adna has a giant stage presence and a performer versatility rarely found. Born and raised in the town of Mostar, in the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the family of lawyers - civil servants, she migrated to Great Britain in 1992, at the age of 18. Alongside two simultaneous schools (The Music School and the general primary, then later The High School for Languages and Literature), Adna laid her theatre foundations with "Mostar Youth Theatre", influenced by Jerzy Grotowski. Upon her arrival to the UK, she trained with John Wright at BA Acting, Middlesex University in London and since then has co-devised and performed in dozens of productions across media. On screen, she appeared in a succession of short films; then in an episode of The Bill (1984); followed by Prime Suspect: The Last Witness (2003) alongside Helen Mirren
