Toni Hunter is from Indianapolis, Indiana. Her early life was facilitated by family travel due to career military parents, throughout the United States and Europe all of her young life. Travel had its' way with beckoning goals of broad opportunities. Although a natural dancer and self taught choreographer she trained in dance while at Virginia Commonwealth University, as well as studying with the Richmond Ballet. From dancing, the natural progress was acting. She began her training with Broadway veteran, Esther Brandice and various affiliates of the New York stage, in association with the 29th street repertoire. In Los Angeles she trained with TSAW. A core acting workshop led by actress, & director, Tasha Smith. She landed her first role as Lovely Daniels in the independent film "It Ain't Easy" where, she then was spotted and asked to appear in several small roles on day-time television's, "Guiding Light" While in Los Angeles, she caught a supporting role in the cult classic SoulPlane. Next adding numerous music videos credits to her accomplishments. Toni caught the stage play bug and fell in love with the true art as a thespian and appeared in supporting roles while touring the stage stage play circuit. "Cheaters" and "Irresponsible Behavior" As of late Toni has continued with her love of the arts experience, with both theatre and dance in both local and national arenas, hoping, to one day grace the stages of Broadway. She starred in HBO's The Wire, costarred on UPN's Cuts and featured in Spike Lee's 25th Hour, and Showtime's "The Good Lord Bird"
