Helen is 29 and grew up in Portsmouth, UK. At the age of 6 she had already decided that she was going to embark on a performing career and told her mum and dad sternly "I will grow up to be like Doris Day and Julie Andrews." With these sights firmly in her head she took piano, flute and guitar lessons, attended drama school and danced every night of the week. From the age of 14 she worked for the local radio station and gained the role of "Travel reporter" for Power FM. At the age of 16 Helen was then cast in the world premiere stage production of "Quadrophenia." From this she went on to perform at Her Majestys Theatre in London. Aged 18 Helen moved her life to Stoke on Trent having landed a job as a singer / dancer at Alton Towers. Following this she decided she wanted to see how life was like on the big screen and began to concentrate on her acting.She was cast in a number of television commercials with some big stars and then landed the role of Catherine in a local film "Beast." Having a soft spot for children in need Helen started teaching educational acting to young people and began writing her own educational plays to tour into schools in the Southern area of the UK. Helen then moved her life to Cyprus whereby she worked as a singer / dancer for TOTT Events. Working on 3 coastal cruise vessel's she got her sea legs and enjoyed entertaining tourists on their holidays. She then decided she wanted to see more of the world and began auditions for Cruise Ships. Landing a job with Cruise and Maritime Voyages she embarked on her next adventure on Marco Polo. Helen spent 2012 on the Marco Polo Cruise Ship as a vocalist and host and enjoyed the Northern Europe adventures. Travelling to Norway, Russia, Iceland, Spitzburgen and the Baltics, Helen enjoyed seeing so much of the world and performing nightly in production shows as a vocalist as well as spotlight cabarets. The opportunity arose to join the sister ship Astor which was going to be based in Australia. So in October 2013 Helen made her nest on board Astor based in Fremantle. Helen traveled Australia and the Far East as the Cruise Director and Production Vocalist. Eventually arriving back in the UK in May 2014, Helen's next adventure is a move to Majorca with her fiancée Glenn to embark on her next performing project.
