Francois Medard

He graduated from The George Washington University's Theatre program (cum laude) in 2000. Kerry Washington, Janine Barris also attended GWU at the same time. At the GWU Graduation Ceremony he was recognized among the top 10 graduating seniors most likely to succeed. Had leading roles in the plays/musicals Into the Woods, Pippin,Company, A Soldier's Tale, The 24 Hour Play, and the opera Dido and Aeneas. Played romantic lead opposite Kerry Washington in the GW productions of Paris When it Sizzled and A Soldier's Tale. The two were nominated for 1998 Best Actor awards for their roles. Played romantic lead opposite Janine Barris (Broadway's Bobbi Boland) in the short play, Lovers. Performed with Bernadette Peters at President Clinton's 1997 Inaugural Gala on CBS and with the famed Opera International in 1999. Though his professional credits include more vocal credits than acting, he is a powerful actor. Studies acting at the Michael Howard Studios in New York.
