Crouch is from a small town in Eastern Oregon. She attended Brigham Young University, where she met her best friend and husband Kevin. The two moved to Las Vegas and then Los Angeles, where Crouch served as a consultant for the art department on the series Berrenger's and Knot's Landing. In the mid-1980s she joined the music department of Triad Artists (now part of WME), whose client roster of over 100 artists included Roy Orbison, Vince Gill, Glen Campbell, George Michael, and Whitney Houston. In 1989, Crouch moved from Los Angeles to Nashville to become in-house agent for Randy Travis.
