ALFONSO MADRID JR. studied Theatre Arts at the City College of New York. He earned his acting experience while working years of off-off Broadway stages, in which ranged from the Lower East Side to 42nd street. Madrid's hard work landed him an award for "Best Acting Ensemble" at the; 'Fringe NYC Theatre Festival' in the play "Admissions" directed by Austin Pendleton. Madrid's exceptional dedication went on to travel 45 states with The Biggs Rossotti National Theatre Company performing, "Don Quixote De La Mancha". After his long stretch of touring, Madrid placed is talents to writing and producing a one man play called, "I Found Soul". He performed 3 successful runs at the famous Nuyorican Poets Cafe. He also produced and starred as the main character in the film, "Salsa Lessons". The film was winner at the Utah Park City Music Film Festival. Madrid's most recent work can be seen in "La Comida" a film Directed by Edward Pomerantz and recently wrapped a film called "Daniel" directed by Antonio De La Cruz. The journey continues.
