Born and bred in New York City, the Founder and CEO of NoodleHead Productions, Lisa Wartur, is an entrepreneur with a passion for PR, people and pop-culture. As a Publicist, Writer, Filmmaker, Social Media Producer, Media Relations Strategist and Expert IMDb Pro Contributor, Lisa has a wide range of experience working with an international celebrity, artist and corporate clientele. She has successfully combined her education and experience with her unique personal style, to become one of the most sought-after PR Consultants in the industry. Lisa developed her passion for pop culture at an early age. Her 1st and 3rd grade teacher was Belle Simon, the mother of Simon & Garfunkel's Paul Simon. He would occasionally stop by the classroom to say "Hello" - this was during the height of the duo's success with the film soundtrack for "The Graduate." Later, Lisa attended the Guitar Study Center in NYC for guitar and voice, which was founded by Paul's brother Eddie Simon. Prior to opening the school, Eddie Simon gave private guitar lessons to Lisa's mom at their home. Later, while working for the Ad Sales division of Cablevision, Lisa was involved in the launch of the first News 12 channel in 1986. While at CBS Records, she organized the Listening Party Cruise for Michael Jackson's "Bad" album release and handled tickets and guest lists for all label concerts and parties. Lisa has interviewed many celebrities, including an exclusive interview with guitarist Brian Ray, of The Bayonets and Paul McCartney's band. She has also facilitated media interviews for celebrities including: Edward Asner, Christopher Lloyd, Xander Berkeley, Garry Pastore, Aida Turturro and Chance Kelly for the Garden State Film Festival. Lisa herself has appeared several times on Vancouver's Global News. Lisa represents talent who have had roles in productions airing on CBS, CBC, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Lifetime, The CW, The Hallmark Channel, A&E, PBS Kids, Fox, SYFY, Disney XD, Showcase, Food Network Canada, just to name a few, and have appeared on numerous podcasts and radio broadcasts. Her award-winning filmmaker clients and talent have had their films screened at festivals including: Garden State Film Festival, Covellite International Film Festival, Whistler Film Festival, Vancouver Short Film Festival, Vancouver International Women In Film Festival, Projecting Change Film Festival, Philip K. Dick Film Festival, Danforth East Film Festival, St. Tropez International Film Festival, Painted Birds Children's International Film Festival, International Family Film Festival, Action On Film and STORYHIVE. Lisa's current and past musician clients have been recognized and/or awarded by CCMA (Canadian Country Music Awards), BC Interior Jazz Artist of the Year, Saskatchewan Country Music Association, West Coast Music Awards and more.
