Sergio Oliveira

Sergio Oliveira has been writing and directing since the 90's. His documentary The Desert of Soara (Super Orquestra Arcoverdense de Ritmos Americanos) won Best Documentary Director and Best Photography at Festival Internacional do Rio 2016. With Renata Pinheiro, his long term creative partner wrote and directed Wanderes ( Estradeiros) winner of the Best Film in the Semana dos Realizadores (Rio de Janeiro-2011) and the Artistic Contribution Prize at the International Film Festival, Curitiba, 2011. And the short documentary film Walt Disney Square which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival in 2011 and received more than 45 awards throughout its career.
