Matt McClure was born and raised in Athens, Georgia. At a young age he found that he loved cameras and cameras loved him. By age seven, he was already appearing in print ads. As a 16-year-old he became one of the youngest actors ever accepted to the Jim Benton Acting School in Atlanta. He excelled in the intro to film acting and was accelerated to advanced film acting class. After graduating from Oconee County High School he earned a real estate degree from the University of Georgia. In 2005, McClure decided that while real estate was profitable, filling his soul was more important than filling his wallet. He sold everything he owned (that wouldn't fit in his car) and moved cross country to pursue a career in show business. Once McClure arrived in southern California, he hit the ground running. He continued his modeling career, working runway shows for Sean Jean, Paul Mitchell, Let's Go Clothing and Harley Davidson among others. He also kept himself busy modeling for companies such as Bel Heir Clothing and various promotional establishments. Companies recognized McClure's ability to attract people to their products. He can be seen in commercials for Tru Color Sunglasses, McClure Studios and Ashley Marriott's Burn & Firm. He also charmed audiences on unscripted television shows Parental Control and Seeing Stars. McClure's star continued to rise as he was featured in Veronica Mars, Death And Life Of Bobby and The Obedient Son. Less than a year after committing himself to acting, he landed his first leading role, as Jake, in Fake King Production's Survival in June 2006. The good buzz form Survival followed McClure as he was soon cast in numerous other feature films. He starred in Guerrilla, Miserable People, Baggage, Passion Of The Nerds and Broken Vision. McClure can soon be seen as Mitch in The Wedding Video, as Clown in Donna On Demand and as spring breaker in Spring Breakdown. His television credits include playing a bartender on Las Vegas and a paramedic on Bones. McClure's enjoyment and success hasn't been limited to acting. He has also worked as a producer on Guerrilla, Survival and Passion Of The Nerds. McClure once again was able to show his artistic ability in 2007 when he produced, directed and hosted The Matt McClure Live Show on Operator11.com. The Matt McClure Live show soon proved to be one of the most popular shows on Operator11.com by bringing actors, models, and musicians face to face with a live audience online each week. After the first season McClure decided to not continue the show because of other obligations. Today McClure is focusing on producing films he believes in and is looking for creative artist/filmmakers who would like to collaborate. McClure's new behind the scenes approach does not mean he will not continue to do what he loves in front of the camera.
