Pamela Moriarty is a Bangkok born Director living and working in NYC. Although her father is American, Pamela's early life was spent in Thailand where she was raised by her mother. She moved to the States to continue her higher education at City College, where she studied fine art, visual design, and photography. During her freshman year, she fell in love with the art of filmmaking. She graduated with a Bachelor Of Fine Arts in Video Production and Film Direction. Pamela's directorial debut, "A Deadly Legend", starring Corbin Bernsen, Judd Hirsch, and Dwayne A. Thomas, was released in 2020. Wielding her impressive tool belt accumulated after years of working in film and TV production, Pamela delivers a graphically rich movie. Her dedication to detail and visual storytelling shine through. Pamela brings a decade of experience as an integral part of the NYC film community. From Director Of Photography, Assistant Director, Set Designer, Prop Master, to Producer. Her impressive resume includes her thesis film "Doted", which received a "Showcase in Experimental Citation'' at the Brooklyn Underground Film Festival. She was excited when invited to be line producer in the highly regarded 2017 "Dreamers" at Gladstone Gallery, for Iranian-born director and visual artist Shirin Neshat (Woman Without Men, Illusions, and Mirrors) whom she was honored to work with. Pamela has worked on over 70 productions, with respected names like Javier Aguirresarobe, Ghasem Ebrahimian, Laura Eason amongst others. Pamela resides in Brooklyn, where she is most likely practicing yoga and writing her screenplays whilst anticipating her sophomore film. She continues to be called on by industry leaders to use her incredible expertise and work ethic to improve and streamline productions.
