Steven Aguilera is an award-winning filmmaker and screenwriter with a focus on highly creative horror, science fiction and comedy. On his first major film project in high school, he served on the design crew for the Roman Coppola-produced horror feature Clownhouse, starring Sam Rockwell. Since his mid-teens, he has produced photo-realistic drawings and is self-educated in most aspects of art, having also written the art instruction book, "A New Perspective" on depth and three-dimensional form. His pre-filmmaking years focused on graphic design (digital and print), motion graphics and website design. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Steven now resides in Los Angeles and works as a full-time filmmaker while co-hosting the podcast, "Dissecting Horror."
