Michael Stromenger

Born in Larimore, North Dakota, Michael grew up surrounded by the arts (acting, singing, playing percussion and piano, writing, and directing). He first obtained a B.A. in Music from the University of North Dakota and two years later got another B.A. (this time in Film Production) from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Michael was always interested in film and decided against his first career choice (choir director) to pursue film writing and directing. He achieved success throughout his years in MSUM's film program, culminating in the completion of his first feature film, One In Nine. Since graduating, he has written and directed several short films and is currently in the middle of the first season of Curtain Call, a murder-mystery web series he wrote and directed. Michael is currently working in the Film Studies department at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He lives in Fargo, ND with his wife, Aimee and their daughter, Emilie.
