Hope LaVelle was raised in Huntsville, Alabama, where she developed a love for film early in her life. By age 13, she was making films every week with her friends, winning state-wide competitions, and was even the president of her high school's cinematography club for multiple years. She then attended the Vancouver Film School in Canada, where she graduated from the Film Production program with an award winning film . After a year of working in Vancouver's film industry, Hope moved south to Los Angeles, California, where she continued working behind the camera for four years at Nickelodeon. During this time she began to realize her passion for performing, and found her big break in front of the camera through her skills in stunts, parkour, and martial arts; picking up many acting roles where she could perform her own stunts. This helped Hope develop a unique brand for herself, bringing in many great acting roles to start her career. Her abilities, both physically and emotionally, soon lead her into the new world of Motion and Performance Capture, where she studied with The MoCap Vaults for video games and film. With all these outlets for performing, Hope continues to grow, work, and make a name for herself in Hollywood.
