Vaya Danielidou

Vaya studied "European Culture" (School of Human Sciences, H.O.U.), "Film and Television Production" in Leipzig and Berlin (LDV-II) and "Film Direction" in London (LFA). She continued with post-graduate studies in Creative Writing (MA in Education), specializing in Screenplay Adaptation. At the moment Vaya is a PhD candidate (Balkan Cinema and History) at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece. Vaya collaborated with many production companies in Greece, UK and Cyprus (feature films, documentaries, corporate videos) and participated in the production of television series for the network of SONY Entertainment in London, UK. She developed school cinema programs and workshops, which applies to both public and private secondary schools. Vaya wrote and directed short and feature films, winning awards in Greece, Europe and USA (Cannes Film Festival, Biennale of Young Artists, New York Short film Festival, Balkan Youth Festival etc). Her work also includes screenplays for television series, video art and short stories. She was a member of the editorial team of the weekly free-press "Exostis". Vaya is the founder of 24plus1 and online workshop e-EDGE and divides her working time between Greece and UK.
