Michelle Slezak was born Michaela Slezak in Bratislava, Slovakia. Growing up as a daughter of an doctor and engineer, her childhood had a focus of scholastic rigor even though she was consistently drawn to performance arts. After finishing a degree in business, she pursued a career in technology always being drawn back to performing. In her mid 20s, she turned to working on independent film in Dallas and Seattle.
