Her love for theater started at a very young age. Performing at the Kannon Parvaresh theater in Tehran, and school plays made her a little rising star in the community. At age 8 she wrote, directed and acted in a number of plays, which made her parents realize her potential in performing arts. The Islamic Revolution in 1979 limited her ability to perform on stage.Upon her arrival in the U.S in 1990, once again she gained her freedom and was back on stage. Her love for theater and acting made her pursue it full time after the birth of her second child. She appeared in many plays in San Francisco, and today she continues the craft of acting at the prestigious Howard Fine Acting Studio in Los Angeles.
