Jamie Kristen is a California native who wrote and directed her first play at the age of eleven and has been in love with theater and performance art ever since. Jamie is known for her diverse abilities in acting, singing, and dance. It has been said that she is "the artist for the new millennium" and a performer who truly embodies the "X-factor". A character actress with a broad range, Jamie has performed in such plays such as The Music Man, Annie, The Sound of Music, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Jamie filmed a musical created for Broadway, Eclipse of the Heart, written by and starring Henry Farnam, in which she co-starred opposite Kyle Lowder as "Beth". She has also had the privilege of working under the direction of Gabriel Bologna in his film, Buds for Life (2004), about four young guys and a pizza place. Before that, she starred in a short film about letting go, titled Clean Break (2007) written and directed by award winning filmmaker, Nathaniel Atcheson. Jamie has directed several short films and plays, several of which she also wrote and produced. She has had her hand in many aspects of the film industry including wardrobe, properties, production, design, writing, and promotion. Jamie was the Executive Director of the Big Bear Horro-Fi Film Festival which she also co-founded with, Michael Coulombe, Karen Forsberg, and Christopher Gaida.
