Steve Lord is an American actor raised in Englishtown, New Jersey. He was first introduced to acting while attending Our Lady of Hungary Catholic school. Following graduation from high school he joined the Marine Corps at age 17 and served his country for 4 years in several Infantry occupational specialties including graduating from the prestigious Marine Corps Scout/Sniper school before being Honorably Discharged. After the Marines he entered into a career in Law Enforcement. He has worked in a jail, walked a beat, sought after fugitives with various Task Forces, was a member on several SWAT teams, and is certified as an EMT, Police Instructor and Firearms Instructor. His favorite assignment and most proud of was being the Senior Drill Instructor of a police academy. A job he held for 18 years. He retired after 22 years of service and now starts his third career. Acting. Steve is formally trained for the Theater, earning him the opportunity to work on stage with Hugh Jackman in his Broadway show in San Francisco which nightly sold out the 1600 seat Curran Theater. He is also working in Film and Television. Steve is known for his work in the films "Killswitch" (2005),the comedy "Sexina" (2007) and the NBC TV movie "Tin Man"(2014), Daytime Soaps "All My Children" and "As The World Turns" and has Guest Starred or Co-starred on Primetime TV series "Golden Boy" (2013) "Gotham" (2014), "The Blacklist" (2013) and "Person of Interest" (2014).
