Stephanie Skinner

Stephanie Skinner is native to the Midwestern/Great Lakes Region of the United States. She has been acting for over 10 years, beginning her journey with a small role in a community theatre production. She has since performed in over 20 independent and/or student films and 14 theatre productions. She has also performed improv/sketch comedy for the web with a group called Funny Bones in the Flint, Michigan vicinity. Comedy has always been her first love, but she is proving her dramatic skills in more and more projects. At Act One Studios in Chicago, she has studied acting, voice over technique, and improv. She was recently cast in a super hero parody, in which she will play a villainess, and just completed narrating an audio book titled Too Quiet in Brooklyn, by Susan Russo Anderson. Just prior to the start of her acting, Stephanie explored stage performing with dance, taking class and performing in recitals locally. Although she hasn't put on the dance shoes in several years, it remains a memorable part of her background and hopes to revisit dance someday. Stephanie enjoys life at home with her husband, author Timothy Skinner, and her lovable dog, Wolfie.
