NUNN, Edwin P. (Eddie) September 10, 1911 - May 2, 2007 Passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 2, 2007. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Gwennyth (nee Avery) (1982). Loving father of Barbara, Ottawa, and Margaret (Sherif Raafat), London, England. Dear Grandpa to Sara and Adham Raafat. Survived by his sister, Evelyn Bourne, cousin, Margo LaLiberte, Montreal, and dear friend, Gwen Laughren. "Pappy II" to his niece, Judith Nunn Fogg. Uncle Eddie to many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his brother, Robert (2002), his sister, Edith Oliver (2005), and his nephew, Kenneth (2005). Longtime actor and supporter of the Ottawa Little Theatre and the Orpheus Musical Society. Honourary President, Orpheus, 2006-2007. Member of Civil Service Lodge A.F. & A.M. Cartographer with Geological Survey of Canada (retired 1975). The family wishes to thank the staff of Park Place Retirement Residence for its care and compassion particularly during Dad's last few weeks. Cremation. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel, Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street, on Thursday, June 14th after 10:30 a.m. until the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the McGarry Family Reception Center. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
