Scott Ganyo was born in North Dakota to a Presbyterian Minister. Scott actually started his theatrical career on the stages of Indianapolis. His first professional break came when he joined the Actor's Theater of Indiana as "Smudge" in Forever Plaid. Still somewhat a "fresh new face" to West Coast producers, he has already made a name for himself as a popular improvisational actor, singer and writer to Midwest audiences. Recently, with a "full throttle" commitment to the entertainment industry, Scott sold his successful Internet software company and relocated (dragged?) his amazingly supportive family to Los Angeles. Now a member of SAG, Scott Ganyo has appeared in several television shows and films, and recently shot a national commercial. In addition, his newly formed production company, Imp Films has begun to produce and pitch new and innovative projects to Hollywood. Usually described as "charming" and "funny", most people have no idea that he is also a determined fencer and black belt (currently studying Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do). With his broad appeal, Scott actually beat Hugh Grant and Whoopi Goldberg's IMDB STARmeter rankings! (Okay it was a happy accident - but he did it!) His goal now: Do it on purpose!
